#RTB | 64% Say Bar Should be "MUCH HIGHER"
The new issue of Realtor Magazine came to our office today.
On page 4, a graphic appears detailing the results of a Reader Poll that was conducted by the magazine.
A simple question was asked: “Should real estate brokerage have a higher bar for entry?”
A whopping 64% said, “Yes, much higher.”
The next highest response was “Yes, slightly higher,” which was the answer provided by 20% of those polled.
And only 14% responded that “No change is needed.”
We tried to find the original graphic to reproduce in this post, but were unable to locate it.
We did, however, find this:
We think the results are conclusive, and we’re not at all surprised.
Once again, we see that people think it’s time for real estate to raise the bar.
We’ve been advocating this for some time, and that’s why we created our own barrier to entry that far exceeds the norm for the industry.

You guys better get your act together or I should we guys as I am a realtor too, I can’t believe the idiots I work with. If the bar is not raised your all out of a job as more and more real estate models and non-commission strutures are popping up every day… that is – by the minute.
I can’t wait!!!!!!!!!!!!
