Mike & Todd’s Excellent Adventure
People talk a lot about the ROI of Social Media.
Erik Qualman (@equalman) – who wrote “Socialnomics,” the definitive book on Social Media, and who created the most-watched videos on the topic – calls Social Media the “greatest cultural shift since the Industrial Revolution.”
Others consider it a complete waste of time.
We can only speak from our experience, but my partner and brother-from-another-mother Todd Waller (@ToddWaller) and I are having the time of our lives with Social Media.
The bottom line: we’ve made more valuable, meaningful connections, and created more great relationships, in the last year through Twitter alone than from all the “in real life” efforts we’ve made in the previous five years…combined!
It seems like something happens almost every week that is positive for us that we can trace directly to the things we do every day in Social Media.
In fact, we intended to write a blog post to summarize these things, but the post was getting SO LONG that we decided to make this little video instead.
We call it “Mike and Todd’s Excellent Adventure.”
We hope you enjoy it!
And, more importantly, we hope you are encouraged to pursue your Social Media dreams.
In the end, we whole-heartedy agree with Qualman: Social Media IS an uber-game-changer…

Good stuff
Still happy for you Todd. Seems like you scored a great gig and boss with Mr. McClure.
Thanks Dave!
EXCELLENT DUDES, that was a most excellent adventure. Was it the folks watching Lost that told you that you were wasting your time with SM? Now that would be excellent>>>>
Yeah, see? I like that, “…folks watching Lost…”
I bet I’m going to have to update this video at least one more time before the year is out…if not two more times!
