Well said, JT, unsurprisingly. I do wonder though to what extend someone can change their natural predispositions. I think to me it boils down to a question of generosity, nay, almost a certain requirement for generosity and that’s a pretty hard thing to fake. The ones asking the ROI on engagement questions will likely still calculate the value of each minute spent answering a question and will still likely look at it as a path to the dollar… I am just not sure we are discerning enough in our 140 character interactions to sense it.

I have to say…this is by far the best video in this series. I think Jeff hits the nail on the head with his answer! It is very honest and what he has to say should be taken to heart by not just Realtors but all small business owners.
It’s really so simple (push vs. pull; take vs. give; me vs. them; transaction vs. reputation…), but so hard for some, even when you say it so eloquently Jeff.
